Solomon Kamau is an innovative and collaborative IoT embedded developer who holds a Msc. in IT, specialising in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. With a strong background in research, having worked at Strathmore University’s iLabAfrica Research Facility, Solomon holds great experience in piloting and implementing Internet of Things (IoT) systems alongside data analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.

Solomon has been a pioneer of many Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWANs) pilots in Kenya working with Narrowband-IoT, Sigfox and LoRaWAN technologies.He is passionate about reliable backhaul networks for LPWAN implementations and is also active on investigating reliable power systems for innovations in Africa.
